Within the framework of the Advisory Assistance Program of the Federal Environmental Agency, INTECUS elaborated the National Plan for Sewage Sludge Utilization in Bulgaria in 2011-2013. The aim of the project was to provide assistance for the improvement of sewage sludge management in Bulgaria. The Bulgarian Ministry of Environment received the Bulgarian-specific documents developed in the project in order to further develop them according to its own ideas. The developed guidelines are transferable to other countries and have now been published on the website of the Federal Environment Agency (see link below).
