In 1999, the International Advisory Board of the Sardinia Conference created the “A Life for Waste” Award, which every two years honors individuals who have made an exceptional contribution to the promotion of international waste management.
Prof. Bilitewski is one of this year’s recipients of the “A Life for Waste” award. The honor was presented on 09 October 2015 during the closing gala dinner of the Sardinia Symposium.
