On March 27, 2017, the presentation of the country profiles on the current trends of the circular and water economy in Serbia, Ukraine, Jordan, UAE, Saudi Arabia and Cuba will take place at the Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation, Building and Nuclear Safety (BMUB) in Berlin, to which we cordially invite you.
The project is funded within the framework of the BMUB’s Environmental Technologies Export Initiative and coordinated by the two offices of the GWP and RETech associations together with the consulting firms uve GmbH and eclareon GmbH. Experts from companies and associations in both industries will present and discuss these markets. Participation in the event is free of charge.
We ask for registration by e-mail with name and organization no later than March 17 to jenny.rentmeister@retech-germany.net. Room capacities are limited. Registrations will therefore be considered in the order in which they are received.
About the background of the event:
The export networks for the waste and recycling industry German RETech Partnership (RETech) and for the water and wastewater industry German Water Partnership (GWP) have prepared market analyses in the form of six country profiles with the support of member companies. The central motivation for this joint analysis was above all the exploitation of synergy potentials in the evaluation and prioritization of foreign markets and the evaluation of “lessons learned” in the target countries as a basis for the planning and implementation of effective measures in the target countries. When selecting the target countries for this measure, currently interesting foreign sales markets were chosen for both industries, although they are still not very transparent.
While German Water Partnership implements the preparation of the technical chapters for water management, the introductory chapter and the technical chapter for circular economy were prepared by six RETech members specialized in the respective countries: Cyclos (Jordan), Goduni (Serbia), INTECUS (United Arab Emirates), BiPRO (Saudi Arabia), Hamburg University of Technology (Cuba), and Andreas von Schoenberg Consulting (Ukraine).
