Dipl.-Ing. Jörg Wagner was elected chairman of the “Saxon Association for International Environmental Protection and Environmental Technology” (SAXUTEC e.V.) for two years by the SAXUTEC general meeting on November 22, 2010. The association sees itself as a network of Saxon companies and institutions, which together search for innovative ways and find intelligent solutions for an environmentally relevant regional development, for resource protection, soil protection, nature conservation, water protection, air pollution control, climate protection as well as ecological energy management, and for a regulated waste management and which market such solutions concertedly abroad. Further members of the board are Dipl.-Ing. Volker Strehle (Vice Chairman), Dr. Petra Schneider (Vice Chairman) and Dr.-Ing. Torsten Harz (Treasurer).
