In continuation of the activities discussed in summer 2010 in Eberswalde during the visit of a delegation of the Khan Uul district of the Mongolian capital Ulaanbataar in the district Barnim (Brandenburg), experts of INTECUS GmbH accompanied the deputy of the district Barnim, Mr. Arno Günther, to Mongolia.
The objective of the mission, which ended today, was to advise Khan Uul District on the remediation of the Morin Dawaa landfill and to develop recommendations to improve waste management in the district. It is planned to evaluate and discuss the results of the project with Mongolian officials in February 2011.
