In 2017, INTECUS and a Vietnamese partner were commissioned by GIZ to develop a guide for investors in waste-to-energy plants in Vietnam. The guide describes all the steps required for the approval of the construction of a waste incineration plant including the feeding of electric energy into the public grid. The project was funded and supported by the MOIT/GIZ Energy Support Program. The results were already discussed at a workshop in Hanoi on 17.08.2017. The guide was approved by the Ministry of Industry and Trade (MoIT) and posted online on the GIZ websites.
