Within the framework of a German-Vietnamese workshop “Scientific-technical cooperation for the development and introduction of adapted waste treatment technologies”, funded by the BMBF and organized by SAXUTEC and Saigon University, INTECUS had the opportunity to deepen and expand its long-standing connections with Vietnamese professional colleagues. During the workshop, Mr. Wagner gave a comparative overview of waste management in Germany and Vietnam and explained in a second presentation adapted possibilities of mechanical-biological waste treatment as well as the production of high-quality compost. Prof. Bilitewski informed about his experience in the field of German-Vietnamese cooperation in the field of waste management research and education. The workshop series will be continued with a visit of Vietnamese experts to Saxony.
